The “Student” part of the full SNACK name represents our connection with students at Linfield College. Since SNACK’s start back in 2007, Linfield Student Interns have been an essential ingredient in making SNACK work. They deliver our family nutrition education sessions, physical activities and cooking workshops, and have many other duties as well. Our SNACK Interns have taken nutrition and physical education coursework and are First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
