Say Hello to Our Summer Team

Our name, SNACK, represents many aspects of our program. The S stands for Student and refers to our wonderful team of student interns and collaborating classes from Linfield College. Our program services are offered year-round to youth living in the area. This offers unique opportunities for Linfield students to gain internship credit and real-world experience working in child and family health. This spring, over 130 Linfield College students delivered over 600 hours of direct programming to local families in the form of our nutrition sessions, cooking classes, after school sessions, and community-wide events. Thank you, Wildcats!

Summer at SNACK is no different – say hello to our current team! Kaitlin, Audrey, and Kaylee will be your interns in the office and in the parks this summer as part of our newest program, GAINS (Get Active In Nature this Summer). You can read more about our interns here and our GAINS program here.

Kaitlin is SNACK’s lead intern for the GAINS program (Get Active In Nature this Summer).

Audrey, shown here at Crater Lake National Park, is a summer SNACK intern for the GAINS program (Get Active In Nature this Summer).

Kaylee, shown here at the Garden of One Thousand Buddhas in Montana, is a summer SNACK intern for the GAINS program (Get Active In Nature this Summer).
